Afternoon sunshine here only momentarily, I may walk down to the church beside the river.
… did I tell you that I’ve made a new man friend, although I’m keeping him secret except from close friends…he’s 91, and lives in the Sussex Downs…we spent three weeks together down in Cornwall. It has to be intermittent because he’s got 4 exceedingly possessive and manipulative children- grown up, but needy as kids, who hate the idea of me, even after 9 months of us knowing each other, so it’s another kind of love that cannot speak its name…
Just when I had vowed complete celibacy and contemplation with my cats…but, nothing has really changed…it cannot…
Friends have just sent me the wonderful news that drum camp is reforming in Suffolk, so, I may be able to come to it, if i get my van or a tent up and running!

I really must print up my portraits of musician/ arty friends- you being one!
